Grandma and Mom said they zoomed in on my face and it was hilarious. I was on the show when it was done by his predecessor, too, Addie Bobkins. I'm sure now that his name was Bob Adkins. I don't remember any other local kids' shows. My brothers dominated the TV, and I didn't know what they got out of it. When I was 13 I found out I needed glasses. Black and white TV ain't much to look at when you can't see it. By then there was no chance of getting addicted. Saved me a lifetime of time wasted that particular way. Now computers are another matter. |
