| SillyOldFart | Aug 8, 2007 6:50pm | | I was born and raised in Roseburg and lived there primarily all my life until about 5 years ago, when I met and fell in love with a Michigan man. I lived there for a few years with him until we started driving team in a semi. Roseburg will always be my home and when we retire, it will be there. I have also lived in the Newport/Toledo area as well as Portland and Gresham. |

| AstroGirlBunny | Aug 11, 2007 10:13am | | Born/raised in Salem but now live in the river town of Parkville, Missouri (which I love - it reminds of an Oregon coastal town). Salem was fine growing up but it seemed all my childhood fav spots disappeared under housing developements by the time I graduated high school. Salem is ok, but Oregon has so many better towns to live in that capture the best of Oregon and what the state really is known for. If I ever move back, it would be to the mountains or coast. |

| grrfunkel | Nov 6, 2007 11:20am | | I live in Newport, Oregon. It's beautiful, and I decided to stay here after moving from Beaverton where the traffic was crazy and everyone was always in a hurry. I love the coast, but traffic is still ...interesting. Big r.v.s lol. Seems like in Newport, there is always somebody in your way. But everyone's nice about it, so its ok. |

| jzionna | Jan 13, 9:25pm | | I've been living in Medford for the past 23 years. I run a small clothing alterations business on N. Ivy St. "Hems Sewing Services". The town is growing rapidly; I think the growth is a possitive development. Hopefully we will have a co-op foods store downtown (if the finance and politics come to an agreement). We are also looking forward to a Trader Joe's coming into town. There are lots of recreation options around here: Skiing, hiking, rock climbing, boating...the Lakes are incredible! Our children have many loving memories of Southern Oregon. Whether they ever return to live here or not, here is where their hearts are. |
